Job Description:
We are currently seeking two reliable and detail-oriented Stock Controllers to join a busy and growing team in Leighton Buzzard. These roles are offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with long-term opportunities for the right candidates.
This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with previous experience in stock control or inventory management, looking to secure a full-time position in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts:
8:00am – 4:30pm
9:30am – 6:00pm
(Monday to Friday – candidates must be flexible to cover both shift patterns)
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage stock levels across the warehouse
Conduct regular stock checks and audits
Update inventory systems and records accurately
Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings
Liaise with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams
Maintain accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing goods
Ensure stock areas are organised and compliant with health and safety standards
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a stock control or inventory-based role
Good attention to detail and high accuracy
Strong communication and organisational skills
Computer literate – comfortable using stock management systems
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Able to work both shift patterns as required
